Size has nothing to do with safety. The Smart Car earned the top safety rating from the IIHS. It uses a very sophisticated airbag system to protect the occupants.
That being said, I wish the U.S. would relax the safety regulations on cars. Motorcycles have essentially no safety while cars have so many requirements that it is nearly impossible to build a truly efficient car. I have wished we would do the same thing they do in Germany and other European countries, which is to allow ATVs to be converted and licensed for street use. This would at least be a good place to start.
Ducati used to make bikes with fantastic fuel consumption, typically 50+ mpg, which is amazing for a sport bike. I'm not sure if they're still doing that, plus the cost of ownership would more than offset the fuel savings, and I'm not talking about acquisition costs.
Well, maybe with 5G we can get mobile phones that can stay connected while moving. IIRC, in physics most things reach an asymptote after 5 generations.
Yeah, that's a valid point. I'm not that big on apps, but there have been a few times when I've been stranded in an airport or some such place and desired some form of mindless entertainment, which the BlackBerry just doesn't really provide much of. BBSSH is a great SSH client, and I feel totally safe storing my keys on the BlackBerry.
I only use the BIS service, but I'm concerned about losing my phone or having it swiped. There is stuff on there that my competitors would find very valuable. I know that with the BlackBerry it is virtually impossible to get information from a locked phone (except probably for governments, but that's not a concern for me). Every article that I've seen comparing various devices comes to the conclusion that BlackBerry is by far the most secure. There was quite a good one within the last year that was posted here in slashdot, although I can't find it right now, so I've stuck with BlackBerry. The other thing I really like about BlackBerry is that it is the best way I've found for typing emails, which I do a lot of on the phone when I'm traveling. I really don't care for typing on the touchscreens and all of the other qwerty keyboards I've tried out are too small or not well thought out.
You mean to tell me that developers have been making apps for BlackBerry all this time? I coulda' swore that every time I saw an app that looked really cool it was only available for Android or iPhone. I can't even get that Angry Ducklings app that everyone is singing about.
I have AT&T and I have driven all over the U.S. for my job with my 3G phone. I have yet to drive down a freeway anywhere and continuously receive a 128 kbps stream. Again, 1 mbps is all I ask.
Hey, I'm didn't say it was a good idea. And besides, maybe the voter doesn't have to be given the key, but have the key encrypted on something the voter keeps.
Okay, not the BitCoin system that is actually used for payment. BitCoin is just an open-source software project, and anyone can create their own BitCoin network. For example, one could be made by a state strictly for use in voting, or Check E. Cheese could use them instead of metal tokens.
Speaking of which, if you're really trying to help someone with these kinds of grammar issues, you should consider offering some easy ways to know when to use which version. 'Whom' is basically the same as 'him', while 'who' is basically the same as 'he'. By swapping in 'him' or 'he', most people can figure out which one is correct.
I'm only partly through two of the links, but I just thought of something. What if BitCoins were used for elections? Wouldn't it guarantee that sending my coins to cast my vote would be guaranteed?
Hence the rentals portion of my statement. Most of them are too drunk to realize that they aren't really going anywhere and besides, they rented the deluxe super-sized SAV, so you can't really expect them to just park it in a garage?
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Ron Paul supports ending prohibition at the federal level for all drugs, but his modus operandi has been to take on things that seem at least somewhat more achievable even if only slightly in his direction. A lot of people, including Pat Robertson, are starting to come around on the unjust brutality of drug laws, especially marijuana, so Paul is attacking it from that angle.
Car makers need to start making what consumers need and are useful.
What, you mean instead of cars that the government tells them to make?

I dunno', my favorite was probably NCC-1701, but NCC-1701-D holds a special place because I was kid then.
Are these new options? Because articles reported being able able hack right past the Android and iPhone encryption in no time flat.
I find the BlackBerry integration of IMAP seemless. I use it on several email accounts.

The voter wouldn't need to know anything. "Here, keep this thing we give you in case you want to prove how you voted."

It's a thing tourists do

Johnny Cab!
True story.
That's why I use a BlackBerry. As soon as Apple or Google come out with a qwerty keyboard and equivalent security, I'll happily switch.

I specifically stated the strip. Have you been there?
Ever driven or even walked the strip in Vegas? Few roads are worse to navigate than the ones in Vegas with a bunch of blasted white trash in rentals.

Which is a valid point. What is the difference between Farmville and Xbox Live!
