What's HIGHLY probable, is that they got angry at each other and she's been doing something bad to him (lie about rape to destroy him?) and he wrote stupid stuff on facebook.

You're entire argument fails with the final paragraph of TFA - He plead guilty. Thanks for playing.

I think you missed the point Monkeedude was trying to make. He is not talking about when businesses actually relocate their office & plant but when they set up a one person office in a tax haven to avoid paying tax. See Microsoft for an example: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/blog/2009/sep/23/microsoft-tax-avoidance-questions

The clear point the article above is trying to make is that Microsoft have basically nothing at all to do with Nevada, but have set up some shell office there simply to avoid paying tax to Washington State (which is where most of there software development is actually done). Seems wrong doesn't it? They get to use all the public infrastructure paid for by Washington State taxpayers but they themselves feel like they shouldn't have to contribute...

If you're payees could hold a check and deposit it at any arbitrary time t, after five years it's possible your checking account would have to have a balance in tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars. You're passing up hundreds of dollars a month in interest or dividends on other uses of that money, in order to absorb the risk of other people cashing the check whenever.
The fact that I can't even get away for idiocy of statements such as this while browsing at +3 is staggering. YOU'VE SPENT THE MONEY. It's not yours once you've written the cheque! Learn to balance your accounts you simpleton.

I concur. Furthermore I will add that removing the privilege of Internet anonymity would not herald a return to some non-existed golden age of respect, it would technologically disarm the citizen, the whistleblower, and the blogger whilst leaving intact the weapons of the PR guru, the astroturfer and private detective. There is an arms race between those in power who wish to control discourse and those without power who want to carry out discourse outside the reach of power. Surrendering one side would not automatically make the other side step back.

I look forward to the day that you follow through on your high minded ideals and provide a web forum in which you will allow anyone and everyone post what ever they want (without restriction) and will virgoursly defend their anononimity from the flood of lawsuits.

    Put up or shut up.

Again with the lies..... How did the 2009 Jetta TDI go?

  6. Re:Clean diesel on World's Only Diesel-Electric Honda Insight · · Score: 1

The modern "clean diesels" generally barely meet modern US emissions reqs. The Jetta TDI, for example, has an EPA Air Pollution Score of 1 out of 10, where 1 is the worst (the Prius gets an 8). You can't sell a car in the US that has worse emissions than the Jetta TDI.
You lose a lot of credibility should anyone actually click on your provided link.
Anyone that needs to go all the way back in time to a car manufactured in 2004 to prove a point about modern diesel technology doesn't sound like the most intellectually honest person.
