I find it amusing how much SlashDot can explode over strange things like internet toasters with visions of Linux grandier. Here are some things I've learned from this:
The iToaster runs BeOS 4.5.
BeOS is good (my favorite OS...I'm using it now.);^)
Linux is good. Maybe my Mom can't use it (sometimes I can't either), but it has lots of great programs, killer source code, and a group of supporters with a lot of passion and drive.
Microsoft and Windows are bad. You all know why.
Anything that isn't Windows or wasn't written by Microsoft has a real nice chance of being good.
The iToaster does not run Windows, and therefore has a great chance of being good.
Bill Gates is the devil (just a theory...)
BeOS and Linux people should stop fighting and unite against the Microsoft War Machine. Can't we all just get along!
