Are we, perhaps, seeing a consolidation of the major players (TiVo and ReplayTV)? That can only be good, because the PVR market is still too small this consolidation to be considered a monopoly.

Wrong - the ATI Rage Pro does (quite creditably_ support 32 bit rendering.
I do wonder, though - how they have a voodoo 32 bit bench mark.
In any case, isn't HQ mode just the resolution, or is it also the higher color depth?
