Wireless in central Illinois is provided by PrairieInet. What a great service they provide. NO tech support. No service. and a 40% up-time. If you can beat that, I bet you would make a killing in this area
This service is available in much of central illinois also. I have order my equipment and hope to have it all running this weekend or early next week. Prices are affordable compared to other alternatives in this area (56Krap). The company, PrairieInet.com just opened the new site today and started services in this area today. Check it out.
Teacher is about the only option i can think of. I know many schools are begging for teachers in technical fields. At highschool, we had a class that was for basic computing. The class covered computer history for the first semester then basic office applications for the 2nd semester. Most people with extensive computer knowledge, aren't at a school (lack of cash), but if it's what you like to do, then do it.
1 Look at netscape. Need I say more?
2 Because they are on the linux system, they will not have the windows advantage. So instead of using all the tricks built in to windows to develop programs, they now are in a whole new realm, lacking the proprietary code needed to make many of their products the way they are. So... What do we get out of this? Developers for windows will be able to use the linux programs to see how to do specific tasks without having to deal with all the microsoft-specific code.
Money is everything in this world. So ask for more of it. Either charge clients more, or ask for a raise. I had quite a dip in productivity for a while, then I got a raise (go figure). But that pretty much solved it.
The only god I can find is GOOGLE. Who else will actually answer your prayers?
