Making someone else suffer doesn't do anything for you. It doesn't matter if the guy who killed your daughter is spending 20 years hanging upside down by his balls, your daughter is still dead.
I think the difference is in how many people see. If the people in the immediate vicinity see your cooch when the wind catches your skirt just right then that's kinda fun, but if your picture ends up on the internet to be seen by thousands then it's not so cool any more.
Given your id, I can hardly imagine you have ever known/. other than what it is today. cast your eyes up to the URL bar of your browser, you'll see that you're on politics.slashdot.org. If you don't want to see political stories, go into your account page and disable them. It's quite a simple process.
The engines may have been running for 4-5 hours, but do we have any indication that they were at full power the whole time? Is it possible that they landed somewhere and kept the engines idling in case they had to leave again?
If their goal was to not be found, it's possible that they didn't fly for the entire 5 hours and landed somewhere. That somewhere could be anywhere in the circle.
If I was asking a question it would have ended in a question mark "?". If you're trying to get something hot enough to recycle steel using just electricity, your costs are going to be astronomical. I tried to find a good source to point you at, but all I could find were enviro-hype crap. You probably need less coal than you did for the initial production, but using electricity is still not a viable option.
a) If I'd only read the first five words I would have never made it to the word "ground". b) I did read all fourteen words and I feel like I have a good idea what you're on about. The reason I replied to your comment is that you are wrong. Burning coal in a modern plant is hardly "dark ages." The amount of control over the plants and the mitigation in place to clean up the emissions are really quite good. Of course, there are some older dirtier plants still around, but that is a problem of anything.
While I understand that you may have reached "peak" curiosity on the back of that comment, the word you are probably searching for is "pique" or piquing.
... you do realise that nuclear fuel comes out of the ground too? As does silicon, syngas and titanium. Basically everything except food comes out of the ground and even some of that does.
But, if they're not keeping your credit card # they can't do the one-click order thing. I do get kinda annoyed having to type my credit card in every time, but I realise that it's nothing compared to the annoyance of having it stolen.
Since the story already had the obligatory xkcd, here's an oatmeal which also describes it: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/s... . To paraphrase: if I want a shitty password and don't care if it gets stolen, why shouldn't I?
After my shock at the piss-poor backronym, my next thought was how this relates to James Bond. Q had a fairly well stocked laboratory without having to resort to any foil at all.
I did the math on this a while ago (it's on a/. comment so you might be able to find it...) Basically a 25% sales tax will allow you to eliminate income tax, pay everyone in the country a poverty-line income and stop deficit spending.
The fact that it would be bad for her income stream is fairly obvious. Knowing that it follows that she would try to protect that income by promoting stories friendlier to it.
He probably wouldn't be happy about a random water tower being built next to his property. That doesn't really change the situation though. No one is suggesting that he is opposed to fracking for some deep philosophical reason: he's not upset that they'd have the audacity to frack in his neighborhood. To frack you need a lot of water, to get a lot of water you need a water tower.

Just go to a redneck party. There'll be a drunk guy there who'll give you a tattoo for free!
tl;dr: You can get cheap tattoos, but don't.

The USA and the UK have agreed to protect the Ukraine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B...
Is that because you don't know who Neville Chamberlain is?

Why would we have to pay more taxes? Taxes went down last time we went to war.
It's good to be inconsistent with a ridiculous assumption.

Americans don't read. At night, or any other time of day.
Good luck with that recycling using electricity thing, let me know how it works out for you.

Aren't they imploding over some ego tantrums? You could check out, http://technocrat.net/, http://squte.com/ or https://pipedot.org/ if you're looking for a site that actually works.

Yeah, sometimes you look at a hilariously obvious acronym and think, "wow, that's kinda cool." I look at LABONFOIL and think, "you didn't even try."
Isn't that what we all do here?
