I don't want more externally produced insulin, I want to make it myself again.

The solution is simple. Teach your pancreas to grow 1/2500th of an acre of safflower, and you're set for a year!

It's not about how long it takes to write it up. The hard part was figuring out who held the video camera, and bugging him enough for him to send the audio just to get you off his back.

After that, the write-up was easy.

The funny thing is that SCO actually did it themselves this time. It's here at their IBM lawsuit web page (which they had't updated since June).

    Mr. Terror Rist,

How do you know that the source code isn't included with the missile that just came through your window? You had a whole 18 nanoseconds between delivery of the binary and that big explosion thingy that sent you to the very hot place. A copy of the GPL and the entire source code was delivered to you, and all you had to do was read it.

What do you mean a missile isn't a "medium customarily used for software interchange"?

Not exactly, although this guy seems to have gotten a TCP/IP stack onto the same chip.

The MegaSquirt uses the Motorola MC68HC908GP32, which has only 512 bytes of RAM, so it's a bit tough to get much done (you try booting your linux system with "mem=512" sometime).

If you really want to run Linux on an embedded system, you might look into uClinux on a bigger processor.
