I just scouted out the apple open source page, looked at the liscense, and, searching for goodies to download, found something called Darwin. Anyone know anything about it besides the couple paragraphs apple provides?
I've tried every browser I could get my hands on, just for the hell of it. Using ie5 presently (cough) but the novelty of the little radio thingy has worn off. MP3's or good ol CDs beat the crap out of streaming radio stations... Here's the list of browsers I've used: Netscape 2.x, 3.x, 4.0, 4.5 and Communicator for Linux Gecko whatever... IE 3, 4..., 5 Opera (some old version and the most recent one) StarOffice's integrated browser (ick!) Neoplanet 1.0... AOL 4.0 that K thing (briefly) Crystal Atari Browser through an atari emulator (so, I wasn't actually online) and some Russian-sounding browser that Sucked Just downloaded Lynx, haven't used it yet... Are there any more out there? hehehe
Yeah, I agree single player marathon was a picnic, but we had some really kick-ass multiplayer guys at school on our lan That's where I learned the importance of zig-zagging while running to avoid being missiled form 3 locations at once! Of course, I sucked compared to them, but it was a rush anyway. // Half Life Uplink nearly made me piss my pants ...and I have to run in 500 x 400 or somesuch rez cuz I traded my voodoo for a stack of burned CDs...
Staying up late on my friend's HOT 486 blasting Nazis...Doom just seemed like the same thing with diff skins at the time. Now, multiplayer Marathon, that was an experience! I had to take a break when I started having nightmares about napalming my family.
Yeah right...but I can't get their site tonight. It's a happy thought.:-)

though I haven't bothered to figure out if Netscape will let me use it for the quicksearch thingy. I started with Yahoo in '96, used metacrawler until it got too much like the other search engines, with ads and fluff. I like the ability to display 100 results at once and it gives me good returns. Also sometimes use altavista for those obcure text string.

I have met several politicians and candidates and they were ok folks. Be careful not to make harsh generalizations.
