Sirius will be carrying all regular- and post-season NFL games next season. They also carry many NHL and NBA games.
The downside to the current NBA and NHL coverage is that you only get one team's radio broadcast, unlike NHL's on-line broadcast where you can choose which broadcast you want (and if you'd like the French broadcast for Montreal or Ottawa)
Another reason I've been a happy Sirius subscriber is their support of other things in the music world. Especially their work in trying to save The Bottom Line. I also see Meg Griffin and Sirius out supporting the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. I haven't seen or heard XM doing anything.
14:31? Damn, the only thing I can think of is Arlo Gutherie's "Alice's Restauraunt". (Which I heard on both Sirius Organic Rock and FolkTown while driving to my Parents home on Thanksgiving.)
In NY, it is a technical violation to place a cover over your license plate that isn't completley transparent. (Of course, this doesn't stop people from doing it.) Besides, the point of e-z pass is to pay the thruway toll faster than having to wait in line for manual payment. Also, no need to carry cash.
Possibly, but it would only be a moving violation against the registrant of the car. The system would be unable to prove who was driving it. Much the same way how cameras at intersections work.
*hee* I got one of those once. My E-Z pass tag malfunctioned. When the software deciphered my old plate, it came up with the letter "O" instead of the number "0". Simple appeal, pay the $1.70 toll... *boom* done.
New York businessman Solomon Friedman... Anyone with technical savvy, he said, could track radio signals from the cards. He designed a pouch a driver can store the card in, blocking the signal when not in the toll lane.
Dipshit didn't design it, you get one of those from E-Z Pass when you get your tag. Maybe he made one that looks a little less like an anti-static bag that a computer component would come in, bu it's not original.
I haven't been paying attention much to the rankings, but I think it has certainly helped sites critical of $cientology in google searches. Critic sites are now 2, 4, 5, 6, and 10.
I'm sick of results like the #6 listing for da vinci's notebook. The #5 site is a front for an ad-filled spam page, and has nothing to do with anything related to the music group.
You'll also find the same thing happening over at TV Food Network. Some of the chefs allow Food Network to only post recipies for a limited time after airing the program.
Except why on earth would IBM buy SCO unless they thought they were going to loose the case?
If IBM thought that the uncertainty about Linux from the lawsuit would cost them more in sales than the cost of buying out SCO, IBM would buy SCO in the short term to prevent those future losses.
And then let's not forget to mention that this is only one quarter of growth. Ignore all the deficit spending by the government, and the ever growing consumer debt levels.
Sure, those numbers may go up in the short term, but in the long term, we're going to pay for that growth, and pay for it with interest.
Anyone failing to see the big picture is only blinded by a hatred for a man. The hatred grows when that man shows any signs of success.
They have voted themselves a cost of living increase so many times that it means they got a raise of $20,000 dollars total in the last 5 years alone.
They vote themselves cost of living increases almost every year now but they haven't raised the minimum wage since 1997.
How do you figure that?

Agreed, I've heard Cracker's song "It Ain't Gonna Suck Itself" on Sirius Organic Rock a couple of times.

The only stream I've ever heard a commercial for Club Pam is on the preview channel, 184. What stream is playing an ad for it?
There are reasons we are allowed the right to bare arms.
Because we need to get a good tan?
Actually, they're profiling different items.
The story from the 15th is from E28. Today is Samsung. The stories are from teh same site, and they're almost the same thing, but not quite.
So there is a glitch in the Matrix today. Next thing you know, /. is going to be swarmed by hundreds of Agent Smith's.
Maybe if the edtors weren't such cheap bastards they would have bought a subscription and seen what the next story in the queue was going to be.
This scenario will be in Railroad Tycoon 4 for sure...

No points for your license.
I think this story is about 3 years too late, Law & Order already did an episode where E-Z pass records were key evidence.
Another L&O: Special Victims Unit came out in its second season with E-Z Pass records.

Don't forget to report the letter to CHilling Effects

How many went to AAC or Ogg or WMV?

there's not much to be pro about in america these days
"What do you mean there's not much to be pro about? America, she's beautiful, she's rich, she's got huuuuuge.... tracts of land!'

Good signature. Bad application.
