I think the "signficant others" who wanna hang out with their partners and share what they are doing, give girl gamers a bad name in most MMO's, the priorities are just so different usually.. oddly enough this goes for both male and female partners who are just as likely to not get what the other is doing but still wanna share it.
That said, in 5 years I have yet to meet a girl in WoW that belonged in a guild that was serious about end game progression.. (and as poster i am replying to says, there are a TON of just as clueless male gamers heh who I also would have no desire to raid with)
umm err this is presuming you are talking about 'girls' rather than 'women' and btw "i play wow" will get that same response of eye rolling OMG I CANT BELIEVE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME ON THAT from folks who think it is a waste of time, and just as much of a shrug from those that dont care.. since its "WoW" and not "the strange thing that only pimple faced geeks play" from years past (and games past)
The fact of the matter is that "hardcore" rather than "plays alot" need a much better definition.. because even people who do not consider themselves gamers.. prolly spend far more time on "casual gaming" than the avg wow player spends in Azeroth.... those 5-20 min sessions of bejeweled, the time spent in farmville/etc, this stuff all adds up.. but none of it makes a "hardcore gamer", hell most of these people probably do not even consider themselves gamers!
Errrm umm.. time spent and wasted != hardcore, it just means they spent more time..
Casual gamers spend hundreds of hours and frequently thousands of dollars trying to fetch the latest purple unicorn vanity pet.. vs spending 100s of hours engaged in group raid ? which is more hardcore? this is a retarded article and theres really no way to even begin to cover the failings in these comments:)
The thing is.. this is an article about over SEO pages designed to 'game' google's pageranking.. obviously its not gonna work on yahoo or bing.. since they use different algorithms , and frankly given google's market share its obvious that marketers would game it.. same way malware writers tend to aim for the low hanging fruit that is MS windows or IE.
Google search won vs Yahoo because it was far more inclusive of more pages (there was a time when yahoo was still a directory edited by hoomans) they also had this lovely bit of not being a slow loading page full of ads and other shit that people didnt want or need to see when they wanted to search quickly..
In fact the rise of Google as defacto search engine pretty much mirror's IE rise.. they may not have been "the best" but they where always the least "bad" of the bunch.
Angry much? Fact of the matter is that you need a civics lesson on how and more importantly why government operates...
Don't blame the idea, blame the implementation.. if your unhappy with government, put your butt to work, run for office, fix from within, and most importantly VOTE dont just bitch on the internet about how government is evil and steals your money to give it away to someone else.
The problem with government, is the people both in power, and the folks who put them there AND KEEP THEM THERE.. NOT the ideas/goals that put them in power.

Umm.. your not trying very hard if you cant hit 3GB a month.. having a "featurephone" that happens to have mild internet abilities, and a 3GB data plan.. is very different from having a SmartPhone with always on internet and heavy use of its you know.. features... such as maps, location awareness etc.
