The Vatican newspaper has every right to complain, it was up to the Italian police to decide what to do. If it was against the law then hurray for justice. If not then thats another story.
and b) can vote whichever way they damn well please
First off its up to the individual states whether they pass laws to make the electors vote the way the state did. As it stands now half of the states have those laws in place. Second electors allways vote the way they should, I believe its only happened once where an elector voted differently.
The electoral college has its uses! its to make shure canidates travel all over and not just to the places with many people live(like the east and west coasts). It may not be a perfect system but I believe the general idea is sound.
I have just comparison of slashdot useing lynx, and links ( I normally use lynx). I must say that lynx does a better job than links because of the way tables are rendered. links tends to squash the sidebars with the content, however it did display the tables correctly. Im going to assume its because of the low page width the page looks funny under links.

Actually the CDD2200 has the weak spring, the CDD2600 has a problem with its lubricant being dried out. Both cause the heads to not be aligned properly towards the center of the disk. It causes many problems: Disc's not being recognized, unusually long spin-up time when first inserting a disk, and coasters.
I don't know what it has to do with napster, but I have a cdd2600, when I went to the site, it's down because they have used up thier alloted bandwidth:) unfortunatly I would like something for my overpriced crappy CDR.
Just think, every web browser that cashes content is open for legal breakins :) have a nice day...
it has builtin ftp support that acts as a filesystem so web developers can work remotely. and builtin preview support for web pages.
