People buy consoles because even a 7 year old 360 will play, for example, Max Payne 3 at better quality and better frame rates than a 7 year old PC will lay the PC version. If you think the issue has to do with the UI, you've missed the forest for the trees.
No one is saying choice is a bad thing. And TFA nowhere says that big smartphones shouldn't be made and sold. It was just the author opining if consumers at large wanted larger smartphones.
Because that means ALL blacks did so for that reason, right? You do know that the last three white Democrats got 88% in 2004, 90% in 2000 and 95% in 1994, right?
No, it's just the fact that blacks vote heavily Democrat. At worse, Obama maybe got 10-12% more than Kerry who got 88% in 2004. Gore got 90% in 2000 and Bill Clinton got 95% in 1994.
And that evidence takes into account that Kerry got 88%, Gore got 90+% and Bill Clinton got 95% in 1994? So it's like 2-3% more than Clinton got, less than 10% more than Gore got and at worse around 12% more than Kerry. Blacks vote heavily Democratic anyway so o claim ALL blacks voted based purely on race over party affiliation is flat out false when you look historically.
It is overrated snce you're repeating a ridiculous line claiming blacks only voted based on race which is silly. In 2004, 88% of blacks voted for white guy John Kerry and more than 90% voted for white guy Al Gore and nearly 95% for Bill Clinton. So, yes, while the jump for Obama is noted, it's not that much bigger when you look historically. It's not as if a large proportion were gping to vote for McCain regardless. So, it's much more likely that the vast majority vote based on pltical affiliation not race when you look at he last couple f elections.
Yeah, I can think of nothing wrong with the repealing of an act that ended the widespread discrimination of minorities wanting to register to vote, reallowing racial segregation of schools, reallowing 'whites only' facilities, and ended gender discrimination practices. But, then again, it's easy to talk about repealing ths when one wasn't part of the group who was historically doscriminated against.
And, no, I don't benefit from quotas and that's an absurd argument since the act explicitly disallowed them.
The only patent and copyright issues are from other implementations of the language. Not from programming in the language. Absolutely no has or will be sued for using OpenJDK. Also, no one writing Dalvik apps is being sied. Only Google is being sued over their own reimplementation of the JVM and associated libraries which Oracle is claiming copyright and patents on.
The GIMP people themselves and the summary are the ones claiming it rivals Photoshop so whining about people pointing out that it's still behind in features of versions of Photoshop from 20 years ago is only fair.
Well the summary is claiming it rivals Photoshop so it's only fair game to point out it's still missing features that Photoshop had in the early to mid 90s. Hell, even Paint.net has high-end features that The Gimp doesn't.

Yes. You have to be at least 18.

They are also idiots.
Yes, all facts that can be found with 10 seconds of Googling. But apparently it's easier to parrot the race line than look up the historical facts.

And in 1994, 95% voted for Clinton. It was because he was black, right?
It's less than 10% more than what he last two white Democrats got in 2004 and 2000. So, it's not really much ut-of-whack.
So in 1994 when Bill Clinton got around 95% of blacks to vote for him it was because he was black?
And blacks voted 88% for Kerry, 90+% for Al Gore, and in 1994 around 95% for Clinton. Last I checked they were all white.

And you assume that all blacks ignored everything but race based on what evidence?
Yes there is. Pretty much any carrier these days has delivery notification for SMS.
So he says after being called out. It must be true since politicians have a longstanding history of never lying.

Wanting to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964?
Many of his ideas aren't common sense. Yes, he has a few decent ideas but there's more chaff than wheat in the mix.
What trouble in sourcing a screwdriver? You can buy one here for $5. And there are others that are easily found with 5 seconds of Amazon searching.

Oracle hasn't sued anyone for 'using Java'. THey have sued someone for making a reverse engineered JVM and library. There's a world of difference.

'Gimp' is a perjorative for disabled people.
Well the summary is claiming it rivals Photoshop so it's only fair game to point out it's still missing features that Photoshop had in the early to mid 90s. Hell, even Paint.net has high-end features that The Gimp doesn't.
