What would be a free web based mail application which also lets you use client based access like Outlook Express and Hotmail?
Yahoo! mail works with a standard POP/SMTP client, and it's free. I've never tried the webmail version, so I can't comment on that, but it meets the other requirements.

IMHO Yahoo (the man) does have some claim to the word Yahoo as related to entertainment in Australia.

Furthermore, we have interesting statistics which tells us that in situations where guns are fired, armed citizens are significantly less likely to shoot the wrong person than police officers.
Do you have a source on this that you can point me to? I would love to be able to add this statistic to my collection, provided it has numbers to back it up.
Something interesting my senior year high school english teacher told me:
Modern TVs don't really turn completely off when you turn them "off", they go into a sort of standby mode. That's why it doesn't take a long time to warm up like old TVs did.
Now, if you look at how much power is consumed by the TVs in the US not really being off, and at how much power is generated by nuclear plants in the US, the numbers are very close. So, in a way, one could say that the editor was correct!

You're a crackpot. You're mixing definitions of T. Guess what? When you don't set up the problem right, you can get all kinds of nonsensical answers. Your understanding of relativity is also pretty bad:
In other words, relativists believe in time travel in one direction, toward the future.
You might want to look into tachyons. No, it's not just a Star Trek notion, it's something that has had serious mathematical inqueries done to it, and rather than being prohibited by relativity, the notion came about because of relativity.
"In conclusion, don't turn someone away who knocks at your door one day and claims to be your future great-great-great grandchild. They may be right."
This quote that you used on your page as an example of crackpottery actually goes against what you claim physicists say! How would your great great great grandchild appear at your door if they could only travel forward in time?
I could go on, but I think I've said enough for the moment.
on a mac at least there's a keyboard layout called Dvorak - Qwerty (command) which takes this into account by causing the key mapping to be qwerty when the apple key is held down.
here's a pretty simple example:
you've got a TV with just an RF input on it. You buy a DVD player, but it doesn't have RF out, so you run it through your VCR. Problem is, this kicks in Macrovision and screws up the image. The only way to solve that is to get a 'video clarifier' that removes the Macrovision. But, that's now circumvention of an access control.

well, Sigue Sigue Sputnik is filtered. what was that second step?
Both "California" and "CA" are as well. So much for finding any live music from there.

He has consistently put out great quality entertainment (Willow, Ewok Adventures, Jar Jar Binks)
While I won't argue about the other two, what's wrong with Willow?
That's terrible! That encorages them to grant all the patents they can get away with!
Don't they essentially do that already?
