I haven't read any of these books, but my question is: Do any of these books cover hardware requirements? Before you even start the installation process?
If you truely are a "Dummy", then you probably bought a prepacked computer that came with a incompatible winmodem, and maybe even a incompatible sound card.
In that case, you're outta luck as far as connecting to the internet is concerned.
Mulder can't be replaced! Any other replacement won't be able to live up to him. It was the unsaid relationship between the two of them that gave the show its best lines and moments. And besides, Scully kick's ass on her own. And if there is a replacement, why does it have to be a guy? I think a female partner would be cool. Just think, the two of them could raise her unborn (alien?) child together! (J/K)
What's the big deal about posting teacher reviews online? It's not just a new media thing. Professor and class reviews have been published in dead tree form on many college campuses by student unions for a while now. Then the are the underground reviews published by student organizations not meant for general campus readership. In otherwords, teacher reviews isn't new, and the media form that it takes place in bares not merit. The professor's got no case.
ID should also send out drommamine to those of us who suffer from of DIMS (Doom Induced Motion Sickness). Maybe then I would actually be able to play for more than 5 minutes. A barf bag should also be included for severe cases.
