    Their are currently no webpages using H.264 directly embedded in the page, they all use flash.

    Anything which uses the video-tag is actually using webm (sometimes Theora).

    Well, Mozilla is doing one big release. Opera and Chromium-developers are doing lots of small releases. I hope Mozilla understands this needs to be the last big release for a while, they should do a lot of smaller ones from now on.

    You could also turn it around, now that we have this, it is possible to be more selective about what you block. Because it is all real HTML/JS, instead of in the plugins.

    I don't think they ever done as many changes at the same time as they are doing now.

    HTML5 is a really large spec.

    While I'm not on a Mac, I do think use the beta's and they are pretty good. Lots of improvements, for example, interface and startup speed have improved.

    How do you mean almost ? Let's see, QNX, Symbian, iPhone, Android has IPSEC support, so has Windows XP and every version after that. Workstation or Server. Same with Linux and Mac OS X.

    But it is good to see that encryption in hardware was still allowed. ;-)

    You can definitly do that, no1 is stopping you. When IPv4 is not available anymore, does not mean you can't still use 192.168.0.0/16 on the inside. You can run IPX if you like.

    You can even still use the IPv4-addresses assigned to you. But you might need to add IPv6 soon, to get good performance when connecting to people who do not have IPv4 (when using peer 2 peer for starters or Skype, etc.).

    That's pretty stupid, as currently:

    Burnrate all allocations last 30 days
    SUM: 16753536
    SUM in /8: 0.998588562011719

    Only 7 to go (actually 12, but the last 5 will have a completely different policy).

    After that, the RIR (the organisation doing the work for your 'continent') will have some left, but they will burn through that in less then a year, maybe 6 months.

    After that, the price of IPv4 will be determined on Ebay or where ever.

    So, yes it will take a few years before IPv4 is going to be expensive to come by. But it will happen.

    Well, let's see, there are now 12 /8's left, the last 5 will have a different policy applied to them (much smaller chunks and only for transition purposes).

    There have been 14 /8's allocated just this year, how long do you think this will last ?

    Yes, people will be able to sell you some used IPv4-address block, but IPv6 will be pretty much free.
