Indeed. You can create a feature limited piece of software with a decent interface, and the worst anyone will say is it's feature limited.
Even a great piece of software(which Blender is) can be ruined by an POS interface(which, arguably, it was). I've used it, briefly, for making models for POV-Ray. There were just too many other apps with good interfaces to justify learning something different.
Sorry, my bad. I'll retract my statement just as soon as my boss replaces all of our software with Mem Tach.
Sarcasm aside, you are right. Probably.
None the less, our fine editor Brad Maher was inexplicably exuberant, nay, gushing over a synthetic memory benchmark that was contradicted by every single other test he ran.
It's just weird. I guess he has to have something to write about, but apparently he can not be bothered with real world application.
Good god. Most of those benchmarks showed little or no performance benefit. Some even had a small(insignificant) decrease compared to the other platforms.
The reviewer was sure jazzed about that.1-1% increase though.
Senator Hollings is the ideal candidate. Not only rat like, and lacking an internal moral compass. He is sure to be easily controlled via electronic device. Failing that. With enough greenbacks I'm sure he'll do anything to succeed in his mission, no matter what the cost.
I find that a burn barrel makes a fine addition to any office space.
Seriously, knowing what to throw out and promptly returning borrowed materials, are the most important things. The more storage space you have the more useless junk you have.
More to the point, there were 100,000 keys mailed out. But only seven distribution points(4players doesn't appear to be hosting the DL anymore).
Assuming that even half of the recipients want to download the game. Even if we all got in a line and waited our turn politely, is it even possible for such a small number of servers to handle the load over the next 2-3 weeks?
Since I've recieved my key(early saturday) my DL manager has been cycleing through them since and only had success once. The connection promptly gave up around the 73 meg mark(512k dsl).
Oh, and that particualr server doesn't support resume.:)
Not that they're alone, this kind of short sightedness seems rampant in the MMOG development community.
Today is Wednsday, Sun Microsystems is evil today. IBM's days are the second and third tuesdays of every month.
With as often as viahardware gets hammered by
Isn't this the third time in the last 60 days they've had their server obliterated by us?
I think I'll get mine a pager. :D

Embarassing as it may seem, I'm with Taco. It suxxors.
Hey if your comedy troupe is that ugly, mabie you should spend the money on plastic surgery.
No, he meant Ag. He provided the Au himself.
Content, content, content... If square is known for nothing else, it's producing assloads of content.
mmmm Sexy!
After all that's what is important in life. Well, that and quality book reviews.

You'll be in violation of the DCMA for playing those disc's in an illegal region, you know.
The comparison is irrelevant, since they aren't testing the same processors. T-bird, Palamino v. MP? no.
I just wasted 8 minutes on disinformation.
Ok it was cool to see the processors litterally burn up.
