The Episode 1 universe sucks ass. Screw those lame ass yellow ships, I want an X-Wing, A-Wing, TIE Advances, Star Destroyer, Super Star Destroyer, etc. The Episode 1 universe sucks ass and everyone (should) know it.
And this is on topic because the new games are being based on the time period of Episode 1.
It probably won't get rid of those products, but there will be a rather large and substantial market for Microsoft products on Linux - remember AOL is being ported.
you misread what I said. Or I misaid what I wanted to.
You can write all the software you want. But who is going to download it when there is a Microsoft version avalible? What do you think a casual user would pick? Microsoft, or someone with the user name NRLax27?
Sure Microsoft doesnt make alot of the genres of software that is released for Linux, but that doesn't mean they cant.
Indrema has no chance. Anyone who follows the console market knows this. No games = no sales.
Those of you who say that this may be interesting because its Linux either know nothing about the console market or letting their Linux bias get in the way.
The guy is talking about employees can go and completley change the OS without them knowing it. Its not a problem of them fucking up their OS, its about adding things that the employer doesn't want them to.
Well either way it looks really nice in Delta Force 2:)
Voxels have a cool way of rendering... it sorta looks like a painting almost from a distance. Its kinda blocky in software though - hardware rendering is really really needed.
So its OK to support a processor monopoly, but supporting an operating system monoply is bad? Sounds pretty hypocritical. Well, it would if it wasn't for the fact that you are owned for VA Linux.
Circuit City does this too. They take the $4 hit on each of the CD's they sell because they think that while your picking up a CD you may also decide to get a refridgerator or TV or something while your at it.
First you complain that Windows sucks because it crashes too often, and then when Microsoft tries to do something that will fix that partially you complain more.
Besides this is old news... I have been using Windows ME for months already.
Well if you want to try to make a new software copyright go ahead (dont make it suck though;) ), but dont try making a new end-all-be-all copyright that affects anything, because the suits of every corperation out their would laugh their asses off at you, then cover up your "accidental" death.:P
I don't mean to sound like an ass, but who does the software industry think they are being able to change around copyrights that affect many things other than software, like soda, chairs, matresses, cars, ect.
I agree. If Sega was smart and wanted bonus points they would say something like "Genesis piracy is the least of our concerns right now - we are now focusing on stopping Dreamcast piracy" or something like that. They should just forget about piracy of their older stuff and just focus on the Dreamcast. They don't make money off of Sonic 2 anymore, but they DO make money off of Sonic Adventure.

And you had reason to misinterpret my post - after reading it again it deserves that 0: Flamebait :)

Why the hell are you using AOL? If you know anything about computers you would know that AOL sucks.
And you can use just AIM to talk to your friends.

Dont make your first purchase in a while this one. You will be left with quite a bad taste in your mouth about consoles.
Anyone who voluntarily uses AOL doesn't even know what Linux is. Or partitions. Or a kernel. Or...

Hey, if they do all that Linux would turn into something like Windows 2000 - easy to use, doesn't crash!
:P
Heck if AOL did that *I* might even use AOLinux - minus the AO part that is
How is this like Napster? You can't download TV shows with Tivo. Its just a digital VCR. What is so hard?
OS monopoly?
Ever hear of Linux?
Or do you not consider Linux a real OS?
Sign me up!

Now all we need is for Intel to pull out of the consumer market and were set.

IBM currently has the most patents of any company in the US (world too I would assume) and currently issues more patents than any company each year.
This is one of the reasons why.

I hope that things like this are a wakeup to the industry - start re-releasing games yourself or we will do it for you.

Its the best stance too. Piss off a normal consumer and you get nothing, but piss off a hard-core fan and watch out :P
HAHAHAHA!
