I've seen a couple of very interesting articles on quantum physics. Since I lack the background, it seems as if I'm really missing out on a great subject.
Could anyone recommend a book for someone interested in learning the basics of quantum physics?
There's life inside us, right? We are made of living organisms. No? Could we be god to those organisms? If so, then maybe they have life inside them and therefore are god to those organisms.
This would be similar to us having a god and he having a god above him. All of this would continue to infinity in both directions.
Reminds me of a joke: What do you get when you play country music backwards? You get your wife back, you get your truck back, you get your money back...
It's not as good as MS Office when editing MS Office documents. I've been using word processors since the late '80s and that problem has existed everywhere. Now, create a document in OpenOffice, email it to someone so they can edit it in OpenOffice, and then have them email it back to you so you can continue working in OpenOffice and I'm sure the problem will go away. The only cost will be to download a copy of OpenOffice on each end.
When I first started out with open-source I was very interested in trying out *BSD. It wasn't until I read a little into the differences between the BSD and GPL way of licensing software that I decided to support Linux.
For what it's worth, I think the BSD mascot is cooler than the Linux mascot.
That's why you should be using goggles.

It seems we are all one with everything.
this happens 7 days after I ordered a Hauppauge PVR-350. I'd rather spend my money on someone who actively supports Linux.
Oh well, that's life.

It's a good thing Microsoft said they will indemnify their customers against IP threats.
...in Soviet Russia hardware recognizes you. Oh wait, nevermind.

Apparently, the closed-source nvidia driver is incompatible with the kernel released with FC2. Not having 3D acceleration is a real pain.
Is there a good 3D card for linux where accelerated drivers are not a problem?
If you are interested in the whole nvidia driver thing, check out the Linux and NVIDIA graphics forums
