What always made me wonder about that in the book and movie was why he didn't use the RTG to also charge the batteries. It wasn't big enough to power the rover, but would have provided a good amount of baseload power for the rover.
You do realize that there have been RTGs that reentered, and even ones involved in launch accidents where the rockets broke up explosively. You know what happened? They bounced.
Because the "real issues" being brought up are not. There are not these serious issues, and nuclear is very safe. When there are very minor releases of radiation, mdsolar, you and others like you flip your shit like everyone is going to die. This is not a serious issue, and a properly upgraded/replaced plant will not have any of the issues that cause meltdowns. But let's demonize nuclear energy for causing less radiation release than coal in normal operation, or even heavy metal mining for wind and solar.
As we still don't know how it works, no one knows how to scale it up to use it to push something big. Currently it doesn't have enough force for something the size of a snowblower to push a pencil across the desk.
No, there is no think tank spying on everyone, no citizen who has shown dissent has been sent to Gitmo. No one has been arrested or tortured for dissenting against the government.
That is because it is independant. If it was a way to get to Assange, why is it easier to go through Sweden and the UK instead of just the UK? The UK spent millions on surveillance because it was a high profile case of a person evading justice and they knew exactly where he was. Do you have evidence of other people pulling shit like this and just being let go, because "oh well they got away"? Do you expect everyone to just drop the rape charges because Assange refuses to present himself to be charged?
Considering that the phone is owned by the city of San Bernardino, and the FBI is asking on their behalf, what is the problem here?
When you go to Apple and ask for tech support, do you often expect them to put you through long drawn out legal proceedings because they don't think you should be given access to your own data?
If all the corporations are getting taxed, there is no competition. You would end up with more companies leaving the country, or going out of business. People don't seem to realize that people are taxed on net income, while corporations are taxed on profit, all they have to do is spend all the profit and you get $0 taxes. If you want to raise tax money, you need to tax people. The problem is, taxes are unpopular, so instead they try to tax companies as that is a hidden tax on everyone.
So you have no problem with the blackmailing of a press person and feeding them the actual wording of the article? You talk about the seating arrangement?
They have no problem generating nuclear blasts. What they claim they have done, but have not been able to do is fusion blasts, or hydrogen bombs (same thing, different name).
Yeah, taking something completely off topic you will come to odd conclusions. I was not advocating for the use of WSUS, I was stating that that is a reason for the update to not show.
I have a domain at home, it isn't that expensive or difficult to do.
You seeing it is one or the other is the root of the issue with the politics in the US. You accept what the media tells you, and ignore the other candidates.
So then you should be all for what the FBI is doing. What point are you trying to make here?
The FBI asked Apple to create a firmware update keyed to the Device ID of a specific phone owned by the city of San Bernardino. They didn't ask for a generic patch, they didn't even ask for a copy of the patch, just that Apple load it. As the patch would be signed by Apple's signing key, there is no way to reverse engineer the patch, even if the FBI was given a copy of it. Apple is resisting because they don't believe that the owner's of the phone should have access to the data on their phone.
Kind of funny, all the things you point to aren't even true of the Republican party. Who in the Republican party has tried to tell you what to do in your bedroom? Who outlawed homosexual acts? (In Maryland, the Democrats outlawed sodomy, infidelity, fillatio...)
Who wants to deny people healthcare? Not the Repubs, they have no problem with you paying for healthcare, or choosing to not pay for healthcare and relying on state paid for ER care.
No one promotes a single religion, but I have seen many Democrats trying to restrict people in the practice of their religion.
Because that is how our judicial system works. You ask for permission to do something of a judge for every instance. Every instance of the thing has to be assessed by a judge.
That is the primary thing confusing me about this situation. FBI is asking for Apple to unlock the phone on behalf of the owner of the phone. This isn't even a privacy issue, the person who used the phone never owned it.
If this were a Windows phone, the administrator would have had access to change the phone's password, why is this some kind of huge constitutional issue, just unlock the damn phone for the owners of the phone.
I am a shill for clearly stating the issue? Please provide references about how I was inaccurate.
Why would I have to wait for that?

Does it hurt to be that paranoid schizophrenic?

I agree, people are stupid.

The patent is public information, which patents of the thousands Microsoft is suing Android makers for is private knowledge of the courts.

Do the Russian banks even have any foreign currency left? Who else would want some rubles.

I highly doubt that NK actually has any of those batteries manned, and it is entirely possible they don't even have the ammo for them.

Those are some great pictures.
I think it is funny to see the Democratic supporters going crazy over Trump, the same people who thought Obama was the second coming.

Bull shit.

The order specifically states that this is to be an unlock tied to the hardware ID of the phone, and that the FBI don't want access to the unlock.

I don't know if BBT really uses a laugh track, or just studio noise, or a combination, but they claim they do not use a laugh track.
