    I think these posts are done by a script he runs, I don't think APK honestly copy pastes these, as there are often numbering errors (1, 2, 3, 5, 4) or missing posts (1, 2, 3/5, but no 4 or 5), and if frequently misses some of my posts to reply to, though it appears he intends to post on every post.

    Thank you for the defense, but it is all good. I think he honestly knows he is a huge troll, but he has this need to claim otherwise. It doesn't bother me, and for those who it annoys, just click the title of his posts and they don't exist for you anymore.

    The non compliance level is 1 lb per hour, as far as I can find there is no indication of how much NOx is being produced in the article beyond speculation.

    I am a fool, like numerous others. But you will notice, that despite having a signature about you for over a month, I don't have many posts that are downmodded, while you have a 90% downmod rate. You have to wonder who is the one being a trolling fool.

    Some of the signatures I have found about you:

    Only two facts are certain in this world: DNS is better than hosts, and APK has a bad case of OCD.

    APK thinks spamming slashdot is good advertising... Definitely not for his doctor.

    And mine:

    APK: proving he knows nothing about networking, security, and programming, six++ posts at a time.

    I agree on the feasibility of the launch loop; it seems the best solution until some wonder material is invented. I was specifically replying to the catapult idea, and the cannon idea further up. A ground based kinetic launch system can't put something into orbit of Earth, it would work on the moon though, and I haven't run the numbers on Mars, but it would likely work there as well.

    If you designed something that could launch a payload with enough force to enter orbit, it would burn up exiting the launcher. Think of the heat involved in an orbital reentry, you would be generating those kinds of speeds at ground level, where the air is denser, and somehow, maintaining enough energy to make it into orbit? The numbers just don't work out.

    It is a common tactic of the Left as well, they just don't come out and say it directly, but they like to treat the minorities like they can't get on without government help in every section of their lives, or that women can't get jobs anywhere they like right now, so they need help/to be tricked, in order to increase the numbers of women in STEM.
