The double standard lies in the fact that the world's largest polluter is treating Volkswagen as though they have committed the worst crimes in the history of mankind and are stealing billions of Euros in dubious legal proceedings paired with a constant stream of damning press releases and statements, while US companies who have done far worse things time and again are being treated with silk gloves by comparison.
They are usually the same ones you see commenting in support of articles about Vaccines causing Autism or who are suddenly experts on Economic and Political Theory.
Do you follow them around to verify all the opinions the individual people hold?
If all those laptops have this bug, sure. Not to defend Apple here though, their laptop should be classed as don't buy, as the Macbook Pro is no longer a Pro computer but a consumer piece of garbage.
I have been happy with my ASUS ZenBook Pro UX501VW, I just wish it didn't have a 4k display. 4k resolution at 15" is absurd, and in a laptop designed for gaming, it is laughable as the video card can't even play games at that resolution.
BUT, I mainly use mine connected to external screens. I only use the built in screen when traveling.
As a fellow Pebble owner from the second Kickstarter, I feel the same way. In the last article about Fitbit buying up Pebble, I came across a comment that suggested this software to replace the Pebble App:
Um, last I checked, it was not North Carolina making a national issue out of it, but the victim crowd who are crowing about how horrible the people there are for passing a law that their electorate asked for.
It would make me happy if the Pebble watch I received in December was going to have the warranty that I paid for. Instead, I am left with a watch that will break and have no replacement, despite buying it new.
I am not sure if this Vector company is in the same situation. It looks like they are, but they may have handled it better.
Except that Maritz's comment is unmodded, as you will planely see if you click on the word "Score". It is +2 because he has good karma and used that to contribute to the registered user's automatic 1.
What makes you say that? What danger exactly does it pose?
You sound like an alarmist, rather than a science oriented person. AGW is speeding up the climate change that was already occuring. We are exiting an ice age still, unless we never actually get out of the ice age, all the effects of AGW are things that were already going to happen. The projected sea level rise is not something that will cause massive problems to avoid...unless we keep building on land that should be sea like New Orleans.
The question you should be asking than is, "should normal users have control over thier updates", MS's answer to that is no, because they never run them. If you feel that you, as an advanced user, should be given control over your updates, buy the correct version of Windows, the one designed for more advanced users, Windows 10 Pro. No one is losing control of their updates but the people who never controlled them in the first place. If you have issues with MS taking steps towards security that they were constantly slammed for in the past, then what is your solution to the problem? How would you handle the majority of users that never run security updates and therefore have zombie PCs and IOT devices participating in botnets?
You are slamming MS for making proactive steps to correct an issue that they have been criticised in the past for, unless you have a better solution, you are just being anti-MS, and not actually contributing to the conversation.
Banana Splits for all!
I hear those things are pretty addictive...
APK, get over yourself. You are the only one who cares.
He let Russia take Crimea?
You asked, just figured I would deliver.
Smog = NOx emissions.
Is it harder when you consider that VW sells far more diesel vehichles than the other manufacturers?

When did China go after VW?
My guess was that the one that he knows of would be Tesla, as the car has no meaningful emissions to be concerned with.
Apple's Double Irish that is used by many European companies?

I haven't been able to look into it yet, but it may solve some of the problems of being abandoned.
Um, last I checked, it was not North Carolina making a national issue out of it, but the victim crowd who are crowing about how horrible the people there are for passing a law that their electorate asked for.
As a Pebble customer with a month old watch, I will say I don't feel rescued.

I'm wondering how they do it without downloads. Maybe the apps are preloaded on a SD card that is sold to them?

Looks like a female to me...
Kind of like people who accidentally a whole word?
it is getting dangerous now,
What makes you say that? What danger exactly does it pose?

While the worst that can be said about AGW is that it sped up the end of the ice age (which we are still in).
The world will not end.
Mankind will not go extinct.
The amount of sea level rise means that people have to move an inch a year to avoid it.

The water that comes out of a water treatment plant where they already deal with lead contamination.
Are you saying you had trouble with your...Type...ing?
