    Look at the size of the camera too, wouldn't it have been less difficult to hook a solar panel to any old camera? The thing is huge, takes awful pictures, and does what can be done easier with a solar panel and a camera (and even a WAP).

    People who at rationally generally get treated rationally. People who foam at the mouth and freak out at everything/everyone that disagrees with them get treated as the nutcases they are.

    Anita is not a rational actor, therefore is not treated as such. Anyone who calls up someone's boss to get them fired for daring to disagree on a public forum is not a rational person.

    What's the difference from a for-profit organization? Could amazon claim tax-exempt status just because it doesn't bring any profit to their share-holders?

    Yes, and in fact all corporate taxes are based off of profit. As Amazon doesn't make a profit, it pays no taxes.

    You do realize this would have no effect at all on the Catholic church right? All the profits would be shipped to the Vatican, as they are their own country, they don't pay taxes.

  9. Do you have evidence that the US had any hand in this particular incident? From what I have read this was all on Spain, France, Italy and Austria that got a little overzealous when they were notified of the possibility of Snowden being on the plane.

    I had a teacher that threatened to have me banned from the computer lab for playing games running off a floppy disk when my classwork was done.

    Sometimes it makes you wonder how they decide who runs the labs.

    Last I checked, UK is a democracy, you voted them into power, you chose your fate.

    If it were the US, I would say start a letter writing campaign, but I don't know exactly how the UK system works.
