My MT 2009 Camry has cruise control, no big deal to put it in as there is just an extra sensor. The additional control is in the ability to prevent upshifting, which is what you cannot easily do in an AT. also, then you floor the gas, you ever notice that time lag? I don't have that with my MT.
I however do not like my car for long drives, but that is more about the suspension.
The French are impolite to all Americans, because they truly believe all Americans are rude. Unfortunately, it is a self perpetuating problem, you are rude to me, I will be rude to you. So while in France, I wore a Canadian pin and the French were generally very friendly towards me.
You won't find a telcom provider offering you a 1MB connection, and if you do, don't use them as they don't even know what they are offering. The connection you are looking for is a 1 Mbps connection, and that is what you are describing, this whole discussion is about 1 MB = 2^10 BYTES, not that 1 Mb = 10^6 bits.
I have heard it quoted at about $500 a month between company paid and employee paid for health insurance, so I don't see his number being so far off, but this is for whole family coverage. My company pays full medical, so I don't complain about it myself.
Try 98 rock instead of DC 101... 98 rock hosts a indy artist event and plays indy music on certain nights of the week. You might be able to find a college radio station that plays indy music as well, and I would love to hear about it if you do.
Simple solution, don't buy music CDRs? Does your country impose a tax on all blank media? The US doesn't, they have "special" music CDR media, which is no different then regular CDR media, it just costs more.
Hell, I would even add that I have no idea how to check my drive by wire system. But, I have not had a single issue with it in the almost year I have been driving my Camry.
How about some of the other arguments that are frankly quite valid:
Flicker Ceiling fan use Cost Negligible power savings when you consider the manufacturing and real life time of the bulbs
Flicker and Ceiling fan sort of go together too, When I used proper incandescent bulbs, no problems, when using CFL, they would randomly start flickering or just shut off, now I have compact halogens that work pretty decently, but I am unsure of their real power savings and they tend to shut the fixture off randomly (remote controlled switch, possibly RF fields?)
All of these "energy saving" bulbs cost way too much, it is a green cash cow like so many other things
The bulbs don't last anywhere near what they say, I only ever got a year or so out of CFLs, when using incandescent, it is the same, but at least they are inexpensive. And Halogen pretty much lasts forever, beat that. .
I can't talk to LED as I haven't seen any with decent light output or color reproduction, but they better be good to replace halogen and incandescent.
I don't know about that, Following the link provided by jdgeorge http://yro.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=1584520&cid=31495234, Maryland doesn't seem to have terrible laws, the 7 day waiting period and no guns for Felons makes sense, and having to watch a safety video is a good move. Were you perhaps meaning the concealed carry laws?
Ahh I misunderstood what you were saying, I read your comment to mean that you had alternate addresses listed on your card. I have had to do this procedure with them for shipments to my work, but never thought it was odd, they are just trying to CYA.
This is not what I said. The person I was responding to was saying he wanted to use his work as his shipping, I was suggesting having this added as an alternate address. NewEgg looks up the shipping address with your CC too and will sometimes ask you to do the fax confirmation of the address.
Would this be kind of like NASA with Apollo 13? Screw superstition, we will do everything we can to make it the worst possible time to teach the idiots to not be superstitious. Does Friday the 13th fall in Dec 2012?

Have you seen their LCD monitor return policy though? If you have dead pixels, it has to be quite a few to return the monitor. I can't believe anyone would buy a LCD with this kind of policy as I have never had a dead pixel not be fixed from HP/Dell purchases.
You may want to check with your credit card bank. My understanding is that they make you do the fax thing if the address is not listed on your credit card, and it should be pretty trivial to add your work address to your credit card.

The "women" in PETA do.
The statements are equally true, to me that means that they are all just as false. :)

All the bolts I have dealt with on my Toyota are in metric...this can only end badly.
Actually, no

Haplo went berserk....
Nice Sig, can you guess where my name comes from?
Government run health care where their teeth fall out and their health slowly declines...yep...

Agreed.
I think the part you are missing is that Viacom is perfectly willing to use Youtube, but freaks out when they see clips they uploaded on it.

Which this system does if you watch the video on the article...I know, no one reads the article...
Or GhostScript

Personally, I expect it to show up in the next Half-Life episode, after all, Gordon was spotted there.
