If what you say is true then I wonder why Bohr and Heisenberg wanted to keep what happenned in Copenhagen secret? Something bad must have happenned for the change in Bohr's mood after the short walk and the frostiness in their friendship. Everything was not hunky dory there my friend!
Often numbers and stats deceive as they don't tell the whole story. You are comparing building empire state bldg and panama canal which is like comparing oranges to apples. People play solitaire for fun as a relaxation not to earn some money or satisfy intellectual thirst. So it might actually would have increased the productivity (we don't know). If you comapre this, then you have compare hours wasted in sleeping, eating and in rest rooms.
If only people find some way to eliminate rest room time, we can build hundereds of empire state bldgs but the world would be stinking.....

Movement was not an indigenous one.. You can see now that the movement included Saudis (prominent being Osama), Pakis, and other muslim countries with active support (money and training) from US
Any good actor can be a great orator... Regan is just an actor who couldn't act in movies but well in real life. He is just a front for lot of people.. All his foriegn policy is of Henry Kissingers..
Everybody here seems to sing praises for this work. All the messages seem to be love letters. But seriously..
I have read the trilogy, sil & hobbit and I have some serious reservations about the work and what it means. All the characters in this novel are either good or bad. This is quite a bad draw back as it reinforces the kids belief that everything in this world is black or white. Also that a bad person is bad person till the end. Though the books offer very good fantasies, they reinforce the sterotypes.
If top 10% is paying 1/3 of taxes then top 10% should get 1/3 of the proposed tax cut. Isn't it? If so then how come top 1% getting 1/2 of the tax cut in GBW plan. There seems to be some number problems here.
