Man, if only America had some sort of public broadcasting service that was perhaps partially funded by the government, then we'd be able to see the universal truth!
I grew up a PC gamer too, and that's why I'm utterly desensitized to input lag. In other words, slogging through Counter-Strike with a dial-up modem builds character. Maybe younger gamers growing up with the rise of online consoles will be even further conditioned to latency.
