I would say go with android, you have all the flexibility and freedom to do wat ever you want and seeing the number of android devices being released to market i would say now except nokia
almost everybody has switched to android (off course there is apple), but if you compare apple vs (the rest - nokia) i would really go for android.
Even i was in a similar situation , and android really rocks..!!
And for the apple, well you can take it as a second option , but remember its all programming languages and api stuff if you learn one the rest are just find replace of specific api methods (tat's not as simple as it sounds, but still).
Considering india's market, there are more buyers for these kinds of cheap gadgets in the lower middle class / typical town peoples, if the price is set around 35$ its a good buy.
Imagine, these tablets hitting rural areas, this will open a *LOT* of opportunity, for both IT companies, and for the people.
using encription for everything is a pain...
also in my point,, keeping those certificates / passphrases is even more troublesome, u loose them n u are left with nothing... in order to keep ur passphrase safe - u tend to keep it in another encryption -- it goes onn n on.. some where there ll be a weak link from which ppl can hack out if they really need ur precious data:)
I just had a look, they say you dont hav to wait for pages to load..!!! crap, this is more painfull.. you hav to wait for "images" to load..as we are in a part of world where internet is still too damn slow, its of very less use.. also put some ad blockers and turn of styles ur page loads lightning fast..!! y use this one..!
Thats crazy.. i have never seen "any" owl in cities. let alone own them..!!
At that frequency you ought to have directional antennas.. and probably use ur phone to cook food (as a death ray..??) ..!!!!
