Because is had plot holes the size of those dune buggies they were driving around?
Come on, they had Data, on a ship with perfect cloaking, that they new was hostile, and data even had a tracking device on, yet they didn't put such a device in the ship!?
There are other things I could rant about, but my brain has (thankfully) forgotten alot of the movie.
In case you hadn't noticed, half the people (at least) walking around these days apparently _have_ had their brains removed, for all I can tell. There are days I feel like the only intelligent person left on earth:)
I bought a refurbished Fujitsu i4177 from ClearanceClub.com some months ago. It has a
Celeron 500, 64MB Ram (upgraded to max of 192),
800x600 screen, USB, etc. So far I positively love
the machine. I installed Redhat 7.1 on it, and it
just worked. Sound, video, etc. Even accelerated
works. The Shogo demo worked nicely.
The only problem I have had is for a while I could not get sound to come out. It turned out to be not a problem with the sound card, but with a connection between the card and speakers called the volume control *ahem*.
I have always valued my freetime above work, so I
avoid (like the plague) jobs that require more than 40 on a regular basis. Not that I mind the occasion overtime, just not as an expected part of my job. Not to mention, my productivity goes down fast after 40 hours, and I find myself posting to/. .
It costs about $150 for a domain with hosting at www.dreamhost.com for a year. And refer me, while yer at it:). That 10 bucks a month, and 30 bucks for the domain name.
Some favorite forgotten movies of mine are:
Orlando
They Live!
Bugsy Malone

Well, so much for ethics and professional attitude! But then, who needs these when doing nothing but pursuing the almighty buck...
