Dude, without knowing your location, why use a T1? For a fraction of the price, you can probably get SDSL. Hell, in my neighborhood it's cheaper to get multiple SDSL drops than a single T1 line. And the bandwidth.... OH MY GOD, DO I MAKE YOU RANDY, BABY!!!
Sure, I use Linux, but I've been a loyal Microsoft fan and reseller since DOS 2.0 and the 8088 (BTW, my 8088 still works and the Seagate 30MB HDD is flawless). If they go ahead with this idea, then that's it. I'm done with them. Once you try to force copy-protection down my throat, you will lose my loyalty. If you think that most major corporations run MS products because they like you, think again. Most of them hate your guts. You're just giving them further reason to look elsewhere. There always comes a time when the economies of scale of choosing B over the Standard A makes sense. Don't cross that line.
Given that you're half my age and you have a much younger generation's perspective and beliefs, where do you think computing and virtual experience will be in 10 years?
1. Microsoft didn't build the O/S.
2. It has less CPU power than a timex watch.
3. Al Gore invented it, before he invented the internet.
4. Back then, NASA stood for New And Simply Awesome. Now, it's Not Another Stupid Accident.
5. Intel was a toaster company at the time.
It's a friggin' conspiracy, man! The techno-manufacturing elite are being mind-controlled by the damn aliens!! See, the aliens know that if we suddenly have cheap access to large-scale storage media, then it makes it easy for large amounts of information to spread quickly. And where is all of this information from? From Area 51, man!!
