I've had students write to me asking for permission for reuse of my music. They refuse to allow me to give permission to them via e-mail--they need the permission by snail mail. YIkes!

I know many people who did not even want spore but pirated it on principle, just to make a statement about their "DRM".
I also know of a few who bought a legal copy then downloaded a pirate copy just so they did not have to deal with all the malware thet EA published with it
