My grandparents still have one. They're probably the last people in town who are still paying for a party line. And they don't want to get rid of it because the prices are locked in, so they're $14 phone bill would likely triple.

Keep It Simple Stupid. The thing is a tank compared to the new models, and has a considerably larger capacity. Why the hell would anyone want to 'upgrade' to a shittier model?
Until 2 years ago when I picked up my Galaxy S3, I was still rocking a flip phone. Why? Because most networks didn't have enough stable 3G coverage, and I wasn't sold on the durability of a touchscreen phone. Until Apple comes out with an actual upgrade to the iPod line, I'm quite happy to continue using my 5th gen Classic.
