It's some sort of overcompensation. Somewhere, a Microsoft Christian has admin access.

  2. Re:Religion = beeing out of the mind on Brain Surgery Linked To Sensation of Spirituality · · Score: 1

Religious people tend to have more "social karma" and seem to get the last word in a group situation. Atheists tend to think they are more intelligent. However, atheists actually are more intelligent. Actually, as well, the majority is not always correct.

  6. Right, but... on Sony Announces First 3D Blu-ray Disc Players · · Score: 2, Interesting

It's yet another HDMI version. They were supposed to even have larger connectors that transferred more data, but I see those nowhere. I'm not seeing why a 24 Hz movie can't be doubled to 48 Hz for 3D when it transfers at 60 Hz anyway usually. I think the tremendous amount of bandwidth needed for those black bars around movies means we all have to upgrade.

Well apparently it's an SoC, but they are likely using external IP for different areas of the chip. So some of it is cool. One thing--wasn't the problem with G5 it being too hot? Don't see why they would go back to that for something portable.

Don't know about MIPS--might still be hanging around in embedded industrial.

But MIPS, PowerPC, ARM will all give you nicer stack traces than x86--is that too much to ask? I'd be fine with MacBooks inheriting this A4.
