    It's okay to say "fuck" on Slashdot.

    But they are right, and contrary to what they say, they put it rather well. Anybody can still put up a web page. In that fashion the internet is still wide open.

    And Slashdot should take the hint. I can't zoom in the page without the damn text spilling off the side, forcing the need to scroll horizontally. What's up with that? Why can't everybody use plain old HTML?

    But that is the goal, elusive as it is. The economy, as it is set up, cannot survive without it. Without a fast growing population, serious problems start to emerge. So usury becomes the only way to keep it going. It is a form of extortion. The economy is held hostage by institutions that are too big to sanction for their unsavory and frequently illegal practices.

    Increased mechanization can only be compensated for by lowering prices and eventually with UBI. But the sociopaths we put in power would rather have food thrown away in front of a starving man and ration money to maintain price stability for the sake of the economy.

Must be what intrigues me so much, the challenge of breaking through dense bone to see what's inside, like taking apart a blender to see how it works. The attraction is compelling.     What "failure"? What better way is there to detain people than keeping them waiting in line? I know of only one. Put them on the plane and keep it on the tarmac for six hours while they do background checks on them.

    Strange, back when the connies were flying it used to take more or less eight hours to get from LA to New York. And here we are over fifty years into the jet age, and now it takes that long again.

    There is nothing absurd about the facts. I'm not 'asserting' anything. The events in the link are still ongoing. Amazon decided it's best to stay away, which I believe is the right thing to do. You're just shillin' bro, appealing to authority to curry favor, and so your friends think you're all cool 'n stuff. Please, continue, you're fun to watch.

    Not only do they engage in fraud, but also money laundering. To this day, they and HSBC and BoA, etc. etc. etc. remain immune and untouchable. And we continue to stand by and reelect the politicians that also benefit, totally distracted by *he who shall not be named*, not that anybody cared beforehand.

    It is probably a wise move for Amazon to keep its distance, lest they get caught up in this tornado and lose everything.

    But, he is using government officials (the judges) in his fight. So yes, his efforts are in violation the First Amendment.

    Apparently she is. I mean, she did win the nomination, and what better rival on the other side could she ask for to divert our attention? These people are smooth operators. You'd almost think they planned it this way. To bring any of them down would put the entire crew at risk.

    Nothing is going to come of this, 95% of congress will be reelected again, the universe remains in balance, so we may as well just relax. And besides, she used a Mac. That's a good thing, isn't it?

    Just how can the "misleading" and "inauthentic" speech be eliminated by the government without violating the First Amendment?

    Easy! Just call a constitutional convention and eliminate the First Amendment. Since it's growing more unpopular every day, it shouldn't be a difficult task. In fact we can put the entire Bill of Rights on the block. Anybody got a problem with that? After all, there is a war on... and all this freedom stuff is only making total victory more elusive.

    As a side note, watch for possible shadow banning, and please inform us if you see any evidence of it happening
