Most people who have 1 gig cards have at least two. While your downloading the one you just filled up and can be shooting with the empty one.
As most programmers/developers know it is hard to balance the needs of ones users. For some the speed issue is a big deal, for most it is a slight inconvenience. If you have an iPod spending $100 for the convenience of a digital wallet is a lot better then spending another $600 and a dedicated/fast digital wallet. But is you have money to burn and you can't figure out what to do with your self for an hour (read a book, talk to someone) while you wait, then maybe this is not the product for you.
Not that it should matter, but sense the American people are so concerned about morality. There seems to be no mention of the fact that the director of the Pianist was convicted of Raping a 13 year old girl and fled the US be fore he could be sentenced.
I wonder if they wanted it to fail. Scheduling Firefly for late Friday night was probably its death sentence. I really enjoyed the show, but I wish it could have show at a better time. Or maybe I should just get a ReplayTV like I have been thinking about?.
What Microsoft says to the pentagon is that their software model is safer than OSS. But to Courts they say that if their code is release to the public that would a catastrophic security risk. Which is it,Safer or a Security risk?
So Microsoft is suggesting that the DOD adopted their software model and trust that no one breaks into M$ and steals their code. Hmm.
Event though the government does not have the best track record with securing their systems, I would still rather the week link be the Government and not Microsoft.
Besides I am not sure what Microsoft is trying to do here, they should know that there Software is not secure enough for certain application (at not least not now, maybe in 10 years). If the government adopted their software and they get hacked, what do you want to bet the government will storm M$ with their techs demanding to look at the source code or worse?
