I tried to give $100 but their web form required an address with a US state name. Are their restrictions on donations from non-US citizens or from outside the US?
I am a US citizen living in Canada, and I voted. I am happy to contribute to blackbox.org even if I don't get a tax break. Hopefully somebody will see this and fix things.
A University education is well worth having. However, as a professor in a good Canadian computer science department, I find that our teaching, and that of most other North American computer science departments, is increasingly aimed at teaching skills that can be applied in the short term. One of the major reasons for this is pressure from students. The result is that computer science grads have less of the "University education" that pays off in the long term.
