    mm that is the reason until recently in the uk you had to for sensitive jobs in the civil service have both sets of grandparents as natural born I certainly had to provide names and addresses of both sets at work as my boss had bent the rules and got me to analyses some experimental data that was defence related .
    Its a bit more relaxed now but some jobs still have reserved status.

    you do know how parliamentary procedure works with you know amendments to motions :-) id suggest reading Citrine and Roberts rules as background than the standing orders and rules of debate for the congress before making that assumption

    I did the approved cisco course as an evening class for fun semesters at 3 hours a week a was a pretty good grounding in tcp/ip networking I recon a 19 week 5 days a week could get some one bright enough up to the ccnp level no problem.

    why would you expose any information about individual civil or crown servants and why should an individual expense claim be exposed? - you do know that civil servants and pseudo civil servants are targeted by terrorists - I personally know two people whose close family where targeted and killed - they are going through the truth and reconciliation process in NI

    And at a large scale in "plumbing" a real screw up can cost millions (and potentialy kill people) - that banging you get when you turn off a tap can destroy an industrial plant if you screw up badly.

    I did and if you have such a long commute then maybe cycling with or with out a boost from electric is not the best way of doing that commute - BTW I used to do 20 miles a day on a MTB as part of my commute.
