I'm not using Junkbuster, but I'll install it if the ads become annoying. TV steals your time. It doesn't really entertain. And now it's going to track you. It's too much!

Um, I hate to break this to you, but if you aren't using Junkbuster, chances are you are already being tracked.

This will mean less home users will use red-hat.

Why? When RedHat started, they didn't have up2date readily available. And yet, they still gained quite a following from the "home user" crowd.

Do you actually think that when someone is trying to make a decision on which distro to use that "automatic updates" are part of their requirements?

This bathroom had squat toilets only. It wasn't clean. There was no toilet paper. There was only cold water. There was no soap.

This is pretty much the same way that I found things in Malaysia. It makes you wonder what you are indeed paying for. Especially, when you have to decide on whether to use the provided hole or the floor, cuz you can't figure out which one is dirtier.

Microsoft isn't doing this out of the goodness of their heart. They aren't doing it to promote cross-platform functionality. Look at their past. Most of their products have some sort of hook in them to try and get you to buy other products if you want full functionality. This will be just another method to reward you for running WindowsME on your laptop or having the right mobile phone.

Actually many of the larger sun systems now have the ability to 'partition' the processor boards in the system into seperate 'virtual machines'

Many of the larger Sun systems? Try one. The E10K. And the term you are looking for is "Dynamic System Domains", not "virtual machines".

so that if one goes down the rest of the system can keep running while you replace that one processor board and then bring it up

True, unless the part that fails happens to be your backplane. Then the entire system must be powered down for replacement.

Use to have a link but lost it...

    Try this one.
