The one-click toaster!

Here's the "real" story:
They got the code, not by reverse engineering, but through the illuminati (they know everything, ya know)...
The courts jumped in, but since the illuminati move everything with their 'invisible hand', and have such immense power, they forced the courts to concede. And the courts did.
To further prove my theory, this post should get moderated down to -1 soon after I post it, so those that actually see if will know the truth!
IT'S ALL A CONSPIRACY!;-)

Playstation 2 is due out shortly. Why would they still care?
PS2 is supposed to allow you to play PS games, also. They should have nothing to worry about...

By adding another way to forge a signature is making it easier to forge in general. Now kids can either, forge my written signature, or hack my e-signature. They have a choice, which is bad. What we need is to make 1 form of signature that is extremely difficult to forge, and can the rest. By adding another type of signature, we are making forging easier...

All the time I spent forging my fathers signature is now down the crapper...
Its good to see the Feds are making laws that are easier to break. That's what they are there for, right? Keepin themselves in business. I think the Judicial Branch of Government has more bugs than windows....

Look at pro football, or any sport... wallstreet in the 80s... Famous actors... Famous singers... etc... Drugs are everywhere. Its the type of person, not their hobbies. I'm a computer guy, yet I only drink a beer sometimes while I play games. Nothin serious. There are some pro football players that are upstanding citizens with perfect records, yet there are some that take crack regularly and beat their wives...
I don't think drugs have anything to do with your occupation or hobbies, but more of your upbringing...

Time to start pumping more money into my AMD stocks... Intel is going down. I think the Athlon was the pivotal point where intel will fall completely to AMD...

Piracy Proof? What an impossible statement to make!!
Ok, lets suppose we are in fantasy land where they finally make the mythological "Completely Pirate-Proof CD". Unless it is a thing of magic, either, I can't make a backup, or it is pirate-able. Sorry Capital America... it just ain't possible!

I haven't seen a single event yet, and don't plan on watching one. And I'm definately not alone.
Viewing the Olympics is at an all time low, and the IOC isn't helping at all. Making excrutiatingly restricted rights are gonna help the Olympics completely fail...
If they were smart, the IOC would open their restrictions instead of restrict, if they plan on staying afloat.

The X-Box, PS2, Dreamcase have all mentioned having a 56k Modem. The N-Cube claims to have an ethernet port for those with broadband. What kind of online capabilities will this machine have? Seeing as how quickly broadband is growing, I'd like to heavily encourage having an ethernet port:-)
Keep in mind, that online gaming is the future...

Will you shun emulators of the console, such as 'Bleem!'??
Most of the gaming industry claims that the best games come from small, independent, 'garage-type' developing teams with little money. Are you going to encourage this type of company to produce games for your console? Will you help them market their games?

Honestly, why take such measures against hackers? They can have a fool-proof way of preventing DoS hacks, but some brilliant, pissed-off computer genius will find a way around it, then tell the 31337 Crowd how to do it, and now a new problem has arised...
I guess its best to make it so some dumb 31337 B1FF can't do it, but I don't think we need to take super-desparate measures...

Furthermore, you should be able to take notes on your PDA while talking on your phone,
I already can see someone on the highway talking on their phone, and taking notes on their PDA while on the phone.... Its bad enough there are accidents while just talking on the phone while driving..... Their should be a law about this (there is one already in several European countries...)

MP3's in the news? NO WAY!!!
I was just talking to my friend about how a GPL wasn't being broken and nothing about MP3's was on slashdot. I thought something was going wrong. Can we stay away from these articles? They are getting REALLY REALLY old, and its the same-old stuff. Slashdot is getting to be more like "news for nerds interested in the MP3 scandal and the GPL" than "news for nerds. stuff that matters"...

Honestly, Linux is already pretty secure. I want to know the best way to secure Windows when I play my games that are DirectX only...
(This is not meant to be flamebait. I use linux for everything but 'windows only' games.)

I have Linux ported to my toaster AND my fridge.
Honestly... there are things that, although we can port linux to them, there is no reason to (other than bragging rights, I guess)...

If they want to improve things, make all the athletes perform naked again, like in the original Olympics. Hell, I'd settle for topless.
Just having the new "women's trampoline" event topless would make me watch... and use my TiVo for slow-mo action...
