MONTH-DAY-YEAR is just silly. No sensible country or civilization uses it. So no sense in wasting time discussing why it is so silly, everyone with a brain knows why this is so.
I would beg to differ. How do you phrase it when someone asks your birthday? I know I'd respond "March 13th, 1980" (Month Day Year, (not my real birthday))
think about it... any time we discuss dates with people we reference them in that order. try actually using any of the orders in conversation and it feels very awkward.
*note* I'm not from the silly part of the world, but I am just north of it
Actually, considering a healthy chunk of the game buying world is going into a long weekend, it's the perfect time to release it because no one will be around the offices to need to deal with the immediate fury and hopefully it will have cooled off by the time they get back.
if they do go through with it, the resulting attempts at class actions will be a good test of EULA as far as hardware/firmware go.
Around 50 comments and still no mention of this great X-files episode (season 4, IIRC)... I guess Slashdot ain't what it used to be.
"great"? maybe in your universe

um, not necessarily, there is the off chance they might decide to multiply instead.
