I've been playing PC and console games since I was like 6 years old, (I'm 25 now). I pretty much consider myself an hardcore gamer.
Well first thing, it's been 3 years since I bought my last PC (~800€ - g80 year) and I can still play every game that gets released with good graphics, the reason? Maybe we are stuck with the consoles? Games still on DX9? console ports? Many reasons.
The era of exclusives on the consoles is pretty much over and I look at the games that are released today for the consoles and think "wow nice selection of casual games" many of them available on the PC , and I still think playing FPS with gamepads is a step back.
In my opinion console gaming died, where are the J-RPGs? the beat'em up on the streets? I could go on...
Most of the games you can play them on the PC, and the ones you can't I guess it doesnt matter because they are not that exclusive.
As for the PC gaming it has been dying for some time now, few good games come out each year, I miss my dungeon keepers and fallout spirit of inovation
