this may be a bit of a stupid question, but does this mean it's legal for me to link to someone's non-html content.
Say their webpage contains graphics and I want to use those (assuming they're public domain), but I don't want to put it on my server. (I realise there are technical ways to stop me and it would make be a cheap bastard to boot, but that's not the point)
handguns are a little too sexy for males past puberty... The problem with the states is that they haven't figured out that gun ownership should be a privelege not a right just like driving a car. I'm not allowed to drive a car if I can't prove myself safe, why should I be allowed to carry something a lot more lethal. (at least if you're off the freeway)
It's pointless to try to compare the USA to Switzerland. (Too many variables, the biggest being a VERY different culture). But there is a culturally VERY similar country to the north a bit. More restrictive gun control including a recently introduced compulsory national registry, and a lower violent crime rate, accidental gun death rate etc. (and before I get yelled at by Canucks, I AM one and to prove it I will spell "colour", "centre" and tell you that the last letter of the alphabet is ZED). oh, and for those of you who know about Molson... i am CANADIAN!
excuse me, but why do you want to scan your memory? if you don't like the conditions of the game, form a company and make your own. I mean this market is nowhere near saturated, you could probably make a killing if you designed a good one. hey you could take the moral highground, release it for linux only and let windows users choke on their indignation...
sounds like a proposal a heard about a few years ago to pay kids to stay off drugs. now is it just me or does the idea of paying people for doing something socially responsible seem stupid? (and it is responsible to tell something if you think the person sitting next to you is going to blow Susie's head off tomorow)
something like this is just WAY too open to abuse.
If you want to set up an anonymous "Stop Violence" hotline, GREAT! Just make it don't pay people for it, that invites even more abuse than you'll get no matter what you do.

Is this legal now? (I don't think it should be)

this sucks, I'm in suburban sprawl and the sky's so bright you can barely see the sky... (and i'm north of the 49th)
Now where's an iceage to wipe out civilization when you need it.
