AMD is the _Only_ serious competiton to Intel. And it is not doing well financialy. If we loose AMD well get: High prices, slower development of new products. Trust the economist (me).. we need AMD badly.
Buying an Athlon gives you that fuzzy feeling that you're supporting the underdog. Even if the prices were the same I would choose AMD. We NEED 2 competitors (or more) beating each other to have low prices and fast progress in technology.
Go to IRC meet some geek from Europe. PGP the source and send it to him. He can then safely redistribute it (because he lives in a free country). The net is soo large and if you are careful there is no way they can catch you. Good luck!
Don't worry people there are still many many servers around the world that have DeCSS. And you can't stop these so easily. How will you stop someone in Yugoslavia from posting it? Impossible. All we can do is laugh at these jerks and if someone wants to pirate movies I really don't mind.

I have an Athlon 1.2 Ghz and Thermaltake Mini Super Orb. It makes A LOT of noise.. Is this normal or should I change it for sommething better?

Does anyone know, will we have to buy new motherboards or will there be PCI cards with USB 2.0 that would work on todays motherboards?
