uhm, this is just getting/.ed now? i, as well as about 10+ other people in #pearpc had installed OS10 at least 3 days ago, if not more - it runs like hell, no networking support (yet, in windows) and you dont have direct access to cdrom (in windows) it was "cool" or whatever, but ill continue to run OS10 nice and swiftly on my "real" mac.
i dont go outside simply because i prefer not. ive done it, i do it daily (for work) but short of that, i'd rather sit at my desk. i get the social stimulation i need from IRC, without the hassle of dealing with the daily idiocy of american society. its not caused by previous failed attempts at social interaction per se, merely my lack of desire to have to deal with people who are not smart(tm) that drives me to stay home.
oh, and the fact i live in binghamton ny, which is essentially a useless ghost town, short of the university, which can also go to hell for all i care, and bring little long island with it!!)

no, they did it by movie their plants and offices to mexico. i live in the town where IBM started. we now have about a hundered empty manufacturing plants, with several saved and boughten by local investors who turned it into some kind of circuit board plant..i dont really know the specific details, but its not IBM anymore.
i first got an m100, used it and abused it for about 3 months, really nice little device..but only 2 megs, small display, and slower processor (not that it matters really) i then got my current Vx, and i would have to say, this is the best palm pilot made. very small and compact, 20MHz dragonball, 8 megs ram, great clear sharp display..
however if you are looking for storage, i'd go with a TRGPro. they are the spittin image of a Palm 3, with the exception of a compact flash slot, that can take up to a 1gig ibm microdrive.
because you (who has been IRCing for 5 years) havent heard of it, means it isnt big/popular/whatever? theres alot of stuff out there that you have never heard of that is big.
no, there are major flooding problems. Bad-Seed is one, he would flood #computer-talk for 6-8 hours at a time, if someone called him a name (ie, Bad-Breath, Bird-Seed)
umm, maybe because people (such as myself) have been going there for years, and know alot of people that go (went) there? i used the IRC server, hardly ever have i been to the "bloated portal" as mentioned previously (not in your post, just killing two birds with one stone).

webtv cannot run *any* "3rd party" applications. (aside from limited Mac. Flash, and Real Audio)
