for DVD playing! I can't f'ing believe that they would throw out hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue by keeping the console from being used as a dvd player for a second/kids bedroom . They're idiots! and for preventing game copying, I know so many people who got a ps1/ps2/xbox with the intention of copying games, and then realized that it was actually work! and just bought the games anyway. It's the CONCEPT that you can pirate games that sells consoles! First the N64 debacle, now a stupid console that can't play DVD's, making a parent's choice easy to get a PS2, thereby saving money on the kids entertainment center. Idiots!!!!!
This will help developing nations farm healthier food while stop them from using the U.S.'s banned pesticides. Plus, GMO foods suck. If we can't even handle the y2k switch, what the hell are we doing hacking the universes most dense code? I don't trust Genetic Engineers to safely mess with anything; let's get operating systems and apps working right first.
My friend ran the Deemon's lair here in Iowa and it rocked! There was a coolness to bbs's that the 'net never had; Ironically, when the net came, we thought it was cooler than bbs's... (at the time, it probably was...;)

What do laws and government have to do with entertainment??? This is insanity. How can they actually talk about LAWS about when MOVIES can be released???? Say I'm a filmmaker... If I felt like releasing a theatrical movie simultaneously with a video, I could be PROSECUTED?????

I loved Burn Cycle; yes, it was cheesy, but if you actually play it all the way through, it's a really fun game; the music was rad too... but the 256 color graphics, yuck...
