I've lost 2 smart phones that were out of warranty but under contract due to the micro Ian port breaking, and a heartache speaker. I really wish they stuck with mini, but wireless will have to do.
I find the trend towards menus in thehtop left makes one handed operation difficult on my htc one s, especially with a case. I would love a nexus one with a high density display personally.
Yeah, they kind of messed up treating Linux as a PR platform rather than a serious one to develop for.
They still have the 3 major consoles, or 3 out of 4 if steam box takes off big, but if they focused on real open source drivers like Intel did they could of had a big win here.
Especially with Valve basically saying "we love open source video drivers, it was great using intel GPUs to port our games".
My guess is they focus on nude pictures not actually involving sex, which I don't think counts as porn. Or are these user generated content sites without moderation?
I can't tell if you're serious or not. Certainly nobody wanted their compromising photos developed by a stranger, which is like having them on the net, but smaller scale, but people have always pretty regularly taken poloroids, self developed, it used vhs. The difference now is that everybody has a self developing camera.
I know I for one have never seen a private company fuck up and redo their work.
I wasn't trying to claim (I am GP) that government is more efficient though, simply that there are cases where the inefficiency of government doesn't outweigh the cost of having competition.
Aside from the fact that there are other attempts to control costs (poorly thought out attempts for digital records being the obvious failure), having everyone covered helps spread the cost further (less emergency care). The markets should get a one time drop of a few percent too (squeezing out a little bit of the profit).
Not a huge fan of the plan, but claiming there was no attempt to control costs is just silly.
I'd assume both run and jump are handled by the analog pads for most games.
I wouldn't want to use it for a fighting game, but overall it seems pretty good to me. Up to 4 simultaneous presses (2 backside, 2 triggers), not counting the 2 pads that click. using the right pad as "buttons" like the wii-mote does often, you can use diagonals to simulate 2 presses in the feasible combos of the SNES.
I'm actually pretty excited to see how well it works, but on the face of it it's a great design IMO. I am most concerned about tight grip triggering the back buttons.
I'm confused, book is super easy to root in I experience (simple touch), and the new ones have come with Google store for a while. Are you sure you're not talking about kindle?
I've backpacker with lots of newer phones on oldish, but not ancient, computers. Acting like a hard drive appears to have gone out of style, it's a real pain.
No, I couldn't be bothered to pay attention until they were in places I saw them, like the stores I shop at or the pockets of people I know.
The iPhone high density display isn't just high density, it's also high quality, which not all high density displays are (the ones that do the pentile pixels are far inferior for anything except for picture viewing).
Apple brought high density screens from something I read about, to everywhere, and it was the killer feature they had locked down for a while.
I assumed more battery life without checking because chromebook, I guess the macbook air or high end ultra book are close, but 13 inch breaks downsize barrier?
Really? The thing that they did that blew my mind was the retina display, and after using one, it was hard to go back to old displays (fortunately android got there when it was time to upgrade).
If it feels better to use, and the power usage of the CPU is lost in the screen (I don't know if this is the case, it certainly is on my phone, with a lower power ARM chip), then the difference between 4 W and 0 W is irrelevant.
I did the math once, that's almost exactly what they make. For choice demographics it's about $1.50/viewer/hour (this was done using the show greys anatomy, as it was the easiest to find articles discussing viewership and ad revenue at the time I did it).
Economists most definitely know about innovation, it's usually best measured as productivity, but as you describe it, as purchasing power.

We use flame throwers to fight insects. At least that's how we fight killer bees, it's quite effective.

It has tons of buttons that don't require moving the hands at all.
I think you're completely wrong.
in urban areas around here (east coast) there's a lot less old people driving than people texting.
In urban areas redlight texting is a real problem.
It's not infrequent to lose 10%-20% of a greenlight to some asshole texting in front of you, the spillover costs are quite high.
Also, as Google moves what were os functionality apis to the play store, it's going to be a bigger deal. To prevent fragmentation they say...

Like a chromebook Pixel?
It's priced like a pc only in the sense that it's less expensive than a tablet.

Kind of reminds me pantheon travel in Europe now. Went from zurich, to mainz, to vienna, and back.
