    Dune II was/is/will for ever be a classic game. I spent so many countless days and nights completely entranced by the story & gameplay. If it were ever to be released for a non-MSDOS platform my money would be soon be exchanged for a copy.

    A really flexible (and free!) ms word conversion program is wv http://freshmeat.net/projects/wv/ . It can convert to html & latex formats, amongst others. It's quite configurable regarding the output that it can produce.

    Note: I'm not in any way associated with this project other than having used it and being satisfied with it in the past.

    And they will only make $XXX million in that time frame. Remember that there's tons of names going every day, and eventually the selection will be extremely limited to anything but the most unique names, so the potential for profit of the future owners would be greatly limited.

    Yes, but what about the millions of domain name holders paying $$ for renewal each and every year? Those renewal fees soon mount up to a pretty tidy sum with very little effort on Verisign's part.

    Indeed. Recent versions of Netscape load all sorts of crap into Windows systems without allowing the option of disabling them.

    Winamp, for instance. No thanks.


    Hmmm - it sounds like you have never heard of a "custom" install...

    Hint: the "default" install is idiot friendly. If you believe that you are not an idiot never perform a "default" install of any software on the winxx platform.

    $ grep -c 'FUCK.*IN NS' com.zone
    25026

    That's right - there's currently over 25 thousand domains registered in the com tld containing those four letters in sequence...
