All you need is a 486DX 100 lying around. That's my MP3 box, complete with a 3.2 gb drive (I can handle up to 8 with the bios card;)
Use MPXPlay for the software, works like a charm, even with high bitrate MP3's
Controll it with a numeric keypad.

This dosent really surprise me, but of course, it's kinda sad to see 3dFX faltering. Maybe if they did do third parties someone could afford their overpriced, underpowered chipsets.
I'm all for linux games, but linux just is not ready for games yet. Until linux gets a stable API for gaming, it's not going to happen. Sure you can use DRI (which, is a wonderful step in the right direction) but hardware support is lacking, although nVidia's drivers work very well on Q3.
Stop complaining about not supportling linux games. Just face it, most games on linux suck ass. If i wanted to play Q3 at 15fps then I would use my P200.
It's not an expansion, its a sequel. You want to know why it's 640x480, because it was started 4 years ago when 640x480x16 was really nice.
I mean, what about quake, gameplay for it hasnt changed since quake 3 and all they did for that was take out the gameplay part.
Diablo II will be played for a long time, just like Diablo. The skill tree system makes for awesome char customizing. You can have all of your chars do something different. The game is great, even if the graphics look a bit dated. But then again, 2d probaly just dosent excite you.
The way I see it is that Lucas is going to do whatever the hell he wants to do. And he can do it becuse Star Wars is one of the largest movie franchises right now.
The way that Lucas markets things you'd think that he got his ideas from Mel Brooks Spaceballs. "Spaceballs: The Flamethrower. The kids love this one" - Yogurt
You would think that the logical thing would be to release it on VHS and DVD, considering how LucasArts has this whole big thing about the quality of their films and everything. What I dont understand is why they did NOT do a DVD release. VHS quality is so much lower than DVD quality, and with the digital prints that they were using for TPM, DVD would be a wonderful medium for TPM to be released on.
IMO, I dont think that we will see a TPM DVD release soon. But if we do, I will buy it, even though I got up at midnight to purchase the widescreen VHS version.

But then again, I'm a nVidia fan, *shrug*
I know I sure don't especially since the web results come from google, which has it's own website...
