It sounds like a fantastic idea. My favorite course in college was a security course, and the message there was to 'think like an adversary.' At the very least, could be motivation to get more people interested in computer science.
This is perhaps the best point that has been made so far - combining parental defiance and boobies would be a potent combination in nurturing technical skills.
Ever try to write an OS using Ada? You'd spend 14 billion dollars and you might get a functional word processor. Copy and paste would be an extra 2 billion, and double the development time of the project.
