Ive lived here in Arizona for aprox 15 years now and this is the first batshit crazy thing we have done where Im actually compelled to do something about.
In all seriousness what can I do here, now, to help stop this?
While delving into the details of how it will play out is interesting... I dont think any of that really matters to them. I dont want to call what they are doing misdirection or overt lieing but the intent here is to throw fuel on an ever growing fire, how the flames lash out really doesnt matter (to them) all that much.
At first this made my eyebrow twitch, but honestly as long as it only applies to the games online I really don’t see an issue with needing a key to associate it with your account. (Unless they pull that UBISOFT nonsense where you can’t play your single player game without online activation)
I think the bigger issue here is how much they charge for their awful games. Slapping you in the face and chaining it down after that initial transaction seems pretty minor in comparison.
In short - Make better games, people wont trade them back in later.

I live here, I am sorry. So what can be done about this from the local persepctive. This crosses a major line for me personally.
