    The (English/Latin, etc) language tells us Militia is plural.

    Presently individuals carrying weapons in the USofA are by no means forced to be 'well regulated'.

    Just wait 'till a couple of sane presidents have stacked your supreme court with judges that understand the previous two points and there will be a lot less violence in the USofA.

    US government officials have repeatedly told us the dangers of terrists is because they hate the freedom you guys enjoy.

    So it's only logic you lower the risk of terrorism by taking away these terrible freedoms.

    Blame the distro's that included it in a release before it was ready for the masses.

    Exactly my thought, it's almost as if Canonical is a government and advanced stuff is better privatised :)

    The Blue Systems crew is also very accessible for the users, a joy to see.

    Hmm, it's a couple of years ago when in Lafayette I decided to buy a boxed version of Red Hat.
    Once out of the shop I noticed a printed warning on the box that it could not be sold to certain nationalities because of encryption used.

    No one in the shop asked me where I would take it nor was I asked at the border when leaving.

    Excellent security policy...

    A rather seldom source of meat, that US racing horse :)
    Most horse meat in the EU is from places like Poland and Romania where horses are still in use for (farm)work.

    Personally I find it rather a repulsive waste of resources to leave a horse to die of old age and send the carcass to destruction instead of having it humanely killed by the butcher.

    Do MS, the BSD's or Apple have OS drivers?
    What about the firmware in your computer's parts, you don't accept that either?

    I see proprietary video drivers just like firmware, part of the package.

    The rules for rounding up/down are part of fhe law and statistically there'll be just as many ups as downs as check out prices are typically not for a single item, no one looses out.

    Don't think you'r the only or first one that's done away with the cent and are now rounding off to the nearest dime, many tourists are likely to know the system from home or some other destination.

    Few transactions at the till involve single item purchases so the final price could be anything.

    Compare it with fuel prices in tenth of a cent per liter, no one expects to actally pay the last 3/10 c.

    That was around the time of the Skype takeover often heard in the Linux community but we did get a new Skype for Linux and it's in some respects better than the Windows version.
    Actually I had not seen a Windows version in many years and when I last week did see it I was really surprised by the included advertising, something (not yet) incorporated in the Linux and Android versions.
