  1. Slack is okay, but I prefer Discord. Especially for large groups that are broken into smaller teams, with fluid memberships. I can see what any team I belong to at anytime, without being inundated by messages for everything. The Voice / Chat separation is also really nice, as we can Collaborate on chat, and on voice as needed.

  2. You don't like Citizen's United, but probably okay with George Soros, the convicted felon with dual allegiances spitting his money at every left wing cause out there.

"David Duke endorsed me? OK, alright. I disavow, OK?" Trump said, seeking to quickly move on to another question.

I guess to people like you, it doesn't matter that Trump defeated, at the Ballot box, against the machine of the GOP establishment, 15 (or so) other GOP opponents, securing his nomination via a democratic process, fair and square. I guess you'd rather have Hillary, who conspired with the DNC to anoint her with a crown, over Bernie Sanders.

Perhaps we just need to have the Political Elite's just appoint our leaders for us, since we are all a "basket of deplorables" and why isn't Hillary winning by 50% ??

    2) They said the same thing about Reagan. And that didn't turn out anywhere near as bad as all the leftwing insult hurlers said it would.
    3) 90% alienation rate is probably highly exaggerated. But considering Chalk Marks counts "offense" these days, I'm okay with offending people. You know what happens when you're offended? Leprosy, you get leprosy. I can only imagine what happens when you alienate these people. Probably full blown AIDS or perhaps retroactive microcephaly on the victims.

  20. Hillary supports rioting BLM folk. Who beat up people that look like her (white), in order to get votes of the black people.

IF you want to talk about actual violence lets look it it.

BUT you'll no doubt say that those people advocating Riots and the killing of cops, white people and other things are not part of the Hillary Clinton campaign, and you might be correct, if ALL you look at is direct affiliation. However, when you see Hillary pandering (hot sauce) to the Black Community, and saying she support BLM (who was rioting, looting and possibly even killing each other when she said it) you can't unlink them. They are "together" in this.

AND it wasn't trump people assembled outside Hillary's campaign events attacking Hillary supporters, was it. It was BLM folk protesting the "racist" Trump.

Never mind that Hillary can't even get more than a few hundred people out to a rally, and has to call in BHO to rescue her failing campaign.

As bad as Trump is, Hillary is equal to, or even possibly worse than him. So, quit pretending one side is worse than the other, when it is VERY clear that neither of them are going to be good for our country. My suggestion is that you consider voting for Gary Johnson, even as a "wasted" vote, because the "Basket of deplorables" are those two running on the major party platforms.

You are "correct" for values of "income" that is taxed. The rich tend to not have "ordinary" income (Income tax purposes) and much of what they hold is in "Trusts" that are taxed differently.

All of which goes to what "definition" of is is. Income taxes are regressive, because the "Rich" do not have "income" the same way that I have income, and am taxed. They aren't paid out of a payroll, so all those additional payroll taxes aren't mentioned.

So, I stand on my case that taxes, all of them, are regressive. Just because you don't see it the way I do, doesn't mean I am wrong ;)

    1) Ad Homenum logical fallacy.
    2) Strawman logical Fallacy
    3) Snarky Sarcastic comment, as if that makes their nonsense right. Period

Income taxes ARE regressive, even if they have a "Progressive" structure to them. The rich do not have ordinary income, and therefor do not pay them. The poor do not pay taxes, leaving the "middle class" stuck with the bulk of them. Progressive? Hardly.

Taxes, all of them, retard whatever is being taxed. In this case, we are retarding income. There are plenty of examples of people doing whatever it takes to NOT go into a higher tax bracket. And if you think that 35% - 39% tax rate isn't confiscatory, you're part of the problem. "Sorry, you make too much money (arbitrary argument) so we are punishing you with a higher tax bracket! You should thank us"

Actually, having studied Finance and Financial planning specifically, Capital Gains is not normal income, and can be largely avoided for long periods of time. Hence the Rich use this method to hide their wealth and its growth. That Million dollar painting, isn't just an art piece, it is a long term asset protection methodology.

So, my statement is 100% accurate, even if you want to deny it (without any evidence yourself). Taxes, all of them, are regressive. The rich can avoid them, the poor don't pay them. The Middle Class pays the bulk of them. So any "Tax increase" is just another attack on the Middle class by snobby socialists and liberals who think they know how to spend your money better than you do.

Lastly, Anonymous Cowards are more or less useless as an entire class of Slashdot commentators. There is no "history" to show how this particular AC thinks, so I only have this one post to go on. Meanwhile, you can visit my comment history to see my thoughts on just about everything, So, I suggest you go back, and find the posts where I prove that taxes, all of them, are regressive and see if you can't find the one that speaks of the Luxury tax Clinton (WJC) laid out, that nearly killed several industries, putting quite a number of workers out of jobs. Taxes do not occur in a vacuum, and the cause and effect results are always full of unintended consequences that Socialist and Liberals NEVER understand.
